The Agroindustrial Cooperative of Timpaki founded in 1945 as ” Olive Oil Timpaki credit cooperative ” and was principally engaged in processing a joint milling the olives of its members and the promotion of the olive oil .
In 1983, in a pioneering move the E.P.S.T. ( Olive Oil Cooperative Credit Timpaki ) merges with OSPAKP (Group member producer Kokkinos Pirgos ) and the resulting Agroindustrial Cooperative of Timpaki .
The A.C.T. accordance with the Statute of developing activities which cover the whole range of production standardization and marketing of agricultural products , to promote economic , social and cultural development of its members and generally producers in the area ,
The year 2008 was created in the cooperative organization producing A.S.Tympakiou aimed at better handling of products.
Today the cooperative has 620 members engaged in the production of vegetables and olive oil and includes:
- Store agricultural supplies where producers can obtain what is necessary for their crops .
- Transport agency for transporting the products to the markets of Athens and Thessaloniki .
- Modern mill for maximum performance and excellent quality olive oil .
- Auction for agricultural products .
- Modern packing for packaging and marketing of packaged products .
